Our Story

How the Crew Started

Thrift 'n' Sip Crew did not start as a business. It started as a group of friends who could not stop texting each other about what they found on a Saturday morning.

From One Rack to a Whole Crew

It began with two friends who both had a Saturday habit: hit a thrift shop, grab an iced coffee, and see what turned up. Word got around, and by the third weekend it was five of us splitting a route across two shops in Costa Mesa.

A year later, that same loose plan has grown into a standing weekend tradition across Orange County, with new people showing up almost every meetup. We still do the same thing once or twice a month that we did on day one: thrift together, sip something good, and text each other when someone finds a win.

How We Got Here

The first Saturday

A handful of us met at a Goodwill in Costa Mesa with iced coffees in hand, thinking it would be a one-time thing (spoiler alert: It was not.)

The matching shirt joke

Someone joked we should get matching shirts so we could find each other in a crowded shop. By the next meetup, three people had custom, matching thrift tote bags.

The crew grows

What started as a couple friends has turned into a monthly tradition, with new faces from all over Orange County.

The Crew Today

We are still a free meetup, open to anyone who wants to thrift while building friendships to last a lifetime. The merch (100% optional) just gives us something to wear as a symbol of our unity. Join us and find your thrifting soulmates.
